As you are sitting down to eat your homemade lunch sandwich you become curious about you plastic sandwich bag. As you start researching how plastic bags are made you discover that plastic bags are an oil product, and you know that oil is an organic product because it is formed from decomposed plants and animals. As you think about these facts, you start to realize a plastic bag comes from various resources here on Earth. Answer these questions related to a plastic bag- 1 How do plastic bags come from nature? 2- What does the photosynthesis process have to do with plastic bags?

Why should every consumer purchase and use reusable shopping bags instead of plastic bags?
