2. CONTROLLED VARIABLES ARE ESSENTIAL IN AN INVESTIGATION TO MAKE SURE THE CHANGE IS THE ONLY DATA YOU ARE COLLECTING. ALSO, CONTROLLED VARIABLES MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DATA IS ACCURATE AND RELIABLE.
