Do natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes) have a domino effect on the world? Your response must include three or more reasons/ ideas/ examples.

OR

As humans impact our Earth, we know that earthquakes are no longer events that are made by the Earth.
Humans (through fracking <pumping toxins into the ground to fracture rock and create pipelines to get oil/gas>, geothermal pumping, and quarry blasts (rocks and minerals from Earth) have been the identified source of numerous earthquakes worldwide.
Should scientists develop two data collection systems to track Earth created earthquakes and human created earthquakes (USGS does not distinguish different between the type of earthquake)?

Earth Changes  Essential Questions-
These are the questions you will be able to answer and do at the end of this unit!

What changes have occurred to Earth over time and how do these changes impact today, tomorrow, and the future?

Why do we know that continents once were all connected together in a single land mass called Pangaea? What evidence supports Pangaea?

How do scientists support observations that the Earth has three interior layers?
