7th Grade Homework Policy
Daily assignments ( such as pre-labs/ post-lab analysis) are due on the
specific due date. Late assignments are accepted, however 3 points
will be deducted from your Homework Completion/ Responsibility grade.
The late assignment will be entered as a 0, until it is completed.  After two
late assignments, students will be required to attend ALP (Academic Lunch Period) in
order to complete the assignment.
Students have until the end of the unit to complete any daily late work
for that given unit.

Pre-labs/ Post-lab analysis (Daily Homework Assignment)-
Every week you will be working on completing a pre-lab or post-lab analysis
connecting to one of our in-class investigations (experiments).  This could
include identifying variables, developing a hypothesis, and procedure along
with analyzing data by creating a graph, inference, or data error analysis.

Grading-
You will be graded based on the Edgewood Grading Scale. Grades are calculated
based on categories:
Homework-  15 %
Homework Completion / Responsibility 5 %
Labs/ Activities 40%
Assessments/Projects- Understanding and Doing Science- 40%
Pre-assessments 0%

Late assignment points will be deducted from your Homework
Completion/Responsibility grade- not the assignment.

** Really important **
