SHEET WE STARTED IN CLASS
DUE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8th

Journal #4
1/5/9 Due Wednesday, February 13th
2/7/8 Due Thursday, February 14th

Can you explain why it is not a wise idea for a person to drink salt water, no matter how thirsty that person is?

OR

The Peterson family is marooned on an island after the sailboat they were traveling on capsized.  The Peterson's will not last long without fresh water.
Can the family drink the sea water they see all around them or is there something about sea water that will not quench their thrist?
Now you are ready to devise a way to provide the Peterson's with fresh water using the sea water. Using any or all of the items found on the island of from the sailboat, try and save the Peterson's.
Bucket, Bamboo, Saw, Palm Leaves, Driftwood, Coconut, Matches
How were you able to save the Peterson's?
