Answers to Review Guide
#2
1- Osmosis moves in our bodies through our cells from high to low concentration areas. Osmosis allows only water to move into and out of the cell through the cell membrane.
2. High= Celery
Low= Salt
The Celery will release water to try and make the concentration level equal of pure water in the salt water. The celery will decrease in size.
3. Diffusion would allow this smell to travel through the house. The high concentration areas is the oven and the low concentration area is the house.
4. The process of osmosis in our bodies is to make water levels equal throughout our bodies. The cell membrane diffuses water into and out of our cells to keep us hydrated.
5. Diffusion moves in our bodies through our cells from high to low concentration areas. Diffusion moves nutrients, blood, and oxygen through the cell membrane.
